Thank you for giving your time to know about my rightings. Yes, rightings - not writings, and not even about righting my wrongs. I'm Jasper Jay Gomez, a Manila-based IT professional on weekdays, and beyond that, a self-taught colored pencil artist. My right brain and I have come up with a passion project called Rightings. It's a little corner where I share my illustrations of various subjects, collectively thought out by what I see and how my right brain wants to do about them on paper.
Drawing is a significant part of my life. I started doing it when I was 2 years old by ruining walls with lines and marks of crayons and then continued through the growing years with doodles of Power Rangers and anime-influenced characters. It halted and took the back seat during my time in college and a few years after that. Then a sudden reawakening happened when I asked for a set of watercolor pencils in a gift exchange event back in December of 2013. Since then, I developed this passion on doing colored pencil artwork.
